Dos Santos struggled to nail down a first team place at the Camp Nou this season after impressing at the back end of last. The players father said : "The ambitious project that Tottenham have has excited Giovani and he just wants to go there and help the team in any way he can. "It is obvious that leaving Barcelona is a risky decision, but with his qualities it appears that it could be the best option for him."
Although I am not a Spurs fan myself, I am very excited by Dos Santos' arrival at the club. I have seen him on numerous occasions and I must say he looks a real talent. He is a very skillful and pacy attacking midfielder and it will be exciting to see how he progresses in the best league in the world.
