27 Million Euro For Jaan Huntelaar

Real Madrid have announced that Klaas-Jan Huntelaar will undergo a medical at the club before being presented to the media on Thursday afternoon following his transfer from Ajax.



The 25-year-old has revealed that it is a dream come true for him to join los Merengues after the Spanish giants and his Dutch club agreed a €27 million fee.

Huntelaar will fly to Madrid on Thursday at midday before travelling to a hotel and then on to a local hospital where he will have an obligatory medical examination.

"He will travel to the Hotel Mirasierra Suites and after a few minutes of rest he will be taken to the Hospital Santias-La Moraleja to have the medical," said a statement on Real Madrid's official website.

"The player will then be presented at 13:00 (CET) in the Palco de Honor area of the Santiago Bernabéu."

Having completed all the official documentation, Huntelaar will not be eligible to play for Real Madrid until the transfer window opens in January, and until then he will continue his recovery from an injury in the Netherlands.
