The former Liverpool man joined the Giallorossi in the summer but he has failed to make maximum impact in Serie A, struggling to break into Luciano Spalletti's first team in the process.
A number of reports around England and Italy claimed the defender would be joining Newcastle United until the end of the season.
However, true to his position, Riise has defended himself from the constant rumours distracting him from the pitch.
"I will stay here in Rome and win," the stopper told Il Romanista.
"Things are getting better for me, the team and my family.
"The win against Fiorentina was very important for us."
The Norwegian was also full of praise for his captain and team-mate Francesco Totti who is getting back to his best following his return from a knee injury.
"Totti? It's such a great pleasure playing alongside him." concluded the stopper.
