Their major concerns are in the midfield, as they currently are without Cristiano Zanetti, Hasan Salihamidzic, Christian Poulsen and Tiago, all of whom are out through injury.
To make matters worse for the Old Lady, Mauro Camoranesi injured his collarbone in his side’s 4-0 demolition of Reggina last weekend and he is now also in doubt for the Milan clash.
The World Cup winning midfielder has been ruled out of this weekend’s contest with Lecce, and he will face a race against time in order to be fit for the battle with the Rossoneri.
There isn’t much that coach Claudio Ranieri can do at this stage, rather than just cross his fingers and pray for the best, in the lead up to one of the matches of the season.
Prior to Milan however, the Bianconeri must overcome Lecce at the Via del Mare, to ensure they prevent Inter from further increasing their advantage atop the Serie A standings.
