FIFA Investigate North Korea

ZURICH - World football body (FIFA) has decided to open investigations against North Korea, following allegations of violence against the players, pascakekalahan in the World Cup in 2010.

North Korea allegedly committed violence against his players due to defeat in three matches allowance for Group G. The action was suspected of dealing with the implementation of a new presidential election in the body of the federation.
Reuters reported on Wednesday (11/08/2010), the president of FIFA, Sepp Blatter, has sent a letter to the Korea Football Federation to request more information about these allegations, last Tuesday.
"This investigation is done so that FIFA can learn more about choosing a new president. If that's true, we will ask about the media accusations that the coaches and some players received severe punishment," explained Blatter.
"The first step is to ask for information from the federation and see the answers given. After that, then we can develop the investigation," the lid.
This situation stems from Radio Free Asia reports emerge, around a closed meeting between the North squad with the officials in Pyongyang, last July. At that meeting, the players allegedly received orders to cast criticism to coach Kim Jong Hun.
Meanwhile, regarding allegations of violence against the players, chairman of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Mohammad bin Hammam doubt. The reason, he did not receive a report that four players from North Korea met last month.
"There are reports that the players have experienced torture and so on. But, I can not confirm that. I did not see or hear anything about the allegations. Probably, this investigation can clear all of FIFA," lid bin Hammam.
