MADRID - Real Madrid's latest Purchasing Mesut Ozil, immediately got the nickname after he arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu. Ozil juxtaposed with Madrid legend, Zinedine Zidane.Players who trafficked from Werder Bremen was just doing a press conference at the Bernabeu. Spanish media gave the nickname 'The Germany Zidane', to Ozil. This year 21 players were pleased with such comparisons.
"Zidane is my hero. As children, I admire skilnya I'm seeing on television, now I get compared to him. I feel honored to be aligned with Zidane," explained Ozil as reported by Goal, Friday (08/20/2010).
Ozil follow in the footsteps of other German international midfielder, Sami Khedira who first landed in Madrid. Ozil claimed that he was contacted Khedira, before signing a contract with Madrid.
"I talked to him before negotiating with Madrid. He explained everything, and I'm glad he's here," continued Ozil.
Ozil reasonably confident about the future of El Merengues. He's hoping to get a degree with his new team. "Real Madrid is a symbol of success. This tebaik club in the world. Every player who comes here, will definitely want to get a degree," lid Ozil.
