Goalkeepers Ausie Select Children Compared to PD 2010
Australian goalkeeper Brad Jones certainly absent in the 2010 World Cup. He will accompany his biological son, Luca, who was diagnosed with Leukemia.
Jones is now in Marseille, France, for the treatment of Luca. Nursing the baby is expected to last for five weeks.
"I've thought about this long. I think I'll stay here (France)," Jones quoted from Fox News, Tuesday, June 8, 2010.
"I want to be here as long as possible."
Jones has actually been incorporated with skuat Australia in South Africa. But a week before the inaugural game, Jones requested permission to leave the Soceroos.
The World Football Federation rules (FIFA) should only injured player who could be replaced after June 1, 2010 deadline. However, upon specific request from the Football Federation Australia (FFA), FIFA will make
exceptions to Jones. Middlesbrough goalkeeper plans will be replaced by a goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic.
