Lippi to the Buffon's Still Hope
Nelspruit - big hope lies with the Italian Gianluigi Buffon. GLI Azzurri goalkeeper mainstay is still hoping to recover before the World Cup ends.
As is known, Buffon got injured during warm-up session ahead of the game contra Paraguay. Apparently, more severe injuries than previously predicted. Buffon had to increase the operating table after the defending World Cup La Nazionale.
Juventus goalkeeper is not taking part in yesterday's practice session. In fact, Marcello Lippi will be deployed to ensure that Buffon was not the time to face New Zealand, Sunday (06/20/2010). His position will be taken over backup goalkeeper Federico Marchetti, thus preached Yahoo Sport.
Although predicted would not be able to strengthen the remaining performances of La Nazionale in the World Cup, Lippi still hopes to Buffon. 62-year coach even claimed Buffon continued to experience significant progress every day.
The good news, midfielder Andrea Pirlo is claimed to be ready to appear on the cover provision for the Group F match against Slovakia, June 24 next. Pirlo is expected to start the practice session today.
