British Foreign players Cause Failure

Spain successfully stepped into the World Cup final in 2010 while England have failed in the second round, and it was all due to the number of foreign players competing in their respective domestic leagues.
Nearly half the players who competed in the English Premier League is not the English players, while La Liga Primera filled with local talent. According to the boss of La Liga, Jose Luis Astiazaran, too rely on foreign players has become one of the reasons for the inability of the Three Lions shine in South Africa.
The development of domestic talent is also a key factor, when the British formed squads that have been aged on average, Spain is able to call the players who are vulnerable younger age and evenly.

"In La Iga no players Spain 77.1%, 16.7% of other European players and 6.7% of non-European players," said Astiazaran told The Guardian.
"Our strategy is working very hard with the young players built their own and try to combine them with experienced players. Why are not more foreign player in La Liga? Because we invest more in young Spanish players younger than foreign players."

"England have long taken the young players from abroad who are still aged 14.16 years. Players are not the kind of English players. This is one of the most important difference between Spain and England. We are more concerned with the young Spanish players."

"At Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United's many young players of Spain, France and Italy - perhaps this is why you are currently not able to bring young English players." (Foti / row)
