Carlos Tevez has described his anguish after seeing his Argentina side crash out of the World Cup following a 4-0 thrashing by Germany.
The Albiceleste were never able to hit top gear after going down early on to a Thomas Mueller header. A Miroslav Klose double and Arne Friedrich goal left Argentina's hopes in tatters.
And Tevez has shared his pain as his side blew their chance of making the semi-finals for the first time since 1990.
"Yes losing like this is painful, but it went like this," Tevez told Sky Sport Italia. "It was a bad game and we are going home.
"We knew it would be a tough game but they were able to beat us."
Asked if there was anything his side could have differently, Tevez said, "We have no regrets, no."
