Premier League Top League World Cup
Would you believe that out of 736 players who perform at the upcoming 2010 World Cup final grazing among 125 players in 26 clubs in England? Yup ... Competition in the State of Queen Elizabeth II was to become the most competitive players in South Africa to donate.
Well, great again, from 125, the 109 is a Premier League player. More from Italy's Serie A is represented by 75 players and 57 players from La Liga of Spain. This data also shows how to pull the English League in the eyes of foreign players.
This amount could rise again because some players are sure will be moving to England next season. Manchester United get a player of Mexico Javier Hernandez, the giant Serbian striker Nikola Zigic joined the Birmingham, Paraguay's Cristian Riveros player moved to Sunderland and Antonio Alcaraz to Wigan Athletic.
Chelsea champions last season - and Barcelona - to be the largest contingent with 13 players represented. The Blues could have contributed more players but the injury forced Michael Ballack (Germany), John Obi Mikel (Nigeria), and Michael Essien (Ghana) must be absent. One more names that are threatened as well bite the fingers are Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast).
Interestingly, Portsmouth is already thrown into the Championship Division aka even represented eight Division I players, an amount equal to a top club like Manchester United, Manchester City and Everton. Ipswich, Reading, Middlesbrough and Plymouth also had representatives.
The question is whether the English club players who are going to be a champion at the World Cup? This question is interesting. Because the last time a British player who won was when Arsenal duo Patrick Vieira and Emmanuel Petit and Chelsea's Frank Lebouf lead in the World Cup champion France in 1998.
Previously, no players that play in English club can win the World Cup in 1966. But this year a candidate bets market Cecs Fabregas Arsenal captain and Liverpool duo Fernando Torres and Pepe Reina success with Spain.
Torres admitted if the English League to boost his performance. "As a Premier League competition is the best. If you talk about the organization, team, players and stadiums are always full every week, it felt good. Spain is a great player, but the Premier League is much better than La Liga," he said.
What about the England squad? England coach Fabio Capello, select all 23 core players from the Premier League, it's the first time this has happened since 1998. Italy and Germany also select all the players from their respective domestic competitions.
A total of 26 of the 32 World Cup teams would have players that play in England. Five countries that had nothing to his British players are Uruguay, Germany, Japan, Italy and North Korea.
Other interesting data, the only team that appeared in South Africa without the players that play is the Nigerian domestic league. The Super Eagles called 23 legions of alien that play in England, France, Germany, Israel, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Holland and Austria.
