Ajax claimed their 18th Dutch Cup with a comfortable 4-1 second-leg win at arch-rivals Feyenoord on Thursday for a 6-1 aggregate scoreline.
Luis Suarez and Siem de Jong both struck twice with the latter having also bagged a brace in the first-leg win.
Suarez settled any early nerves with a fourth minute long-range drive which was misjudged by Feyenoord goalkeeper Erwin Mulder.
The match was well and truly put out of Feyenoord’s reach as De Jong grabbed his first goal just past the hour mark.
Jon Dahl Tomasson soon pulled a goal back latching onto a rebound after a free-kick from Jonathan de Guzman hit the woodwork.
De Jong quickly restored the two-goal margin before Suarez added a fourth late on as the Amsterdam side went some way to making up for narrowly missing the league title behind Twente Enschede last weekend.
