Kwak blow for Republic
Korea Republic's preparations for SA2010 have been hit by injury after defender Kwak Tae-Hwi was ruled out
The 28-year old has been a key part of coach Huh Jung-Moo's back-line, scoring 5 goals in his 12 appearances for his country.
However, the Asian team will now have to make do without his services in South Africa, after Kwak twisted his knee ligaments during his side's 1-0 weekend defeat to Belarus.
Korea Republic boss Huh is expected to draft in either Kang Min-Soo or Hwang Jae-Won as a replacement, with his side's final warm-up game against Spain scheduled for June 3.
Korea Republic will then face Greece, Argentina and Nigeria in Group B.
