Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium
Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium is located in Port Elizabeth overlooking the famous scenic North End Lake. The stadium was constructed specifically to host 2010 World Cup matches and has a capacity of 50,000. It is the first World class stadium to be constructed in the Eastern Cape Province.
The eye-catching roof was specially designed to withstand Port Elizabeth's notoriously high wind speeds and is equipped with two state of the art video boards.
The Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium will host five group stages matches, one second round match, a quarterfinal and the third place playoff during South Africa 2010.
