Boost for England 2018 bid
The duo did admit the controversy caused by England's former 2018 bid chairman Lord Triesman could have damaged England's chances of winning the right to host the World Cup.
However they were unanimous in their support for Triesman's successor Geoff Thompson and the validity of England's ongoing bid.
Platini said: "I have a good friendship with Lord Triesman and I want to help him in his bad moment, for him as a person.
"I want to support my friend in this big problem. I think it is a bad thing that happened to him."
Asked if England's chances had been affected, Platini said: "Maybe yes, I think you need the people who vote on your side.
"But for the bid Geoff Thompson is a good guy, England is a great country and of course it can recover and survive this."
Fifa's executive committee will select their bid winner on December 2 and vice-president Warner believes the FA's swift response to the Triesman scandal will have limited the impact of the affair by the time the committee come to vote.
"It's unfortunate but the English FA dealt with it appropriately and quickly and therefore I don't believe there'll be too much negative reaction from it."
