Free State Stadium
The Free State Stadium is located in the central portion of South Africa and located 2km away from central Bloemfontein. This multi-purpose stadium serves as the home of two Bloemfontein based sports franchises, the Bloemfontein Celtic football team and the Free State Cheetahs rugby union team.
The Free State Stadium has undergone many renovations including a new second tier addition to the stadiums main terrace which has increased its capacity to 45,000 spectators. Further renovations have seen an upgrade to its flood lights, new turnstiles installed and of course a new electronic scoreboard and sound system.
The Free State Stadium will host five first-round matches and one second-round match at South Africa 2010.
